- Greetings from rural Australia! My design and marketing business, Interface Pty Ltd, is a partnership between me, Carol Jones, and architect, Victor Pleshev. We escaped the city lights for the rural life in 1992. In 1994 my business life changed forever when Victor designed The Fitz Like A Glove™ Ironing Board Cover as a gift for his mum. Victor, an architect, and me, a market research consultant, had lots of experience in the service industry, but knew nothing about making, marketing or selling a product. Especially one we designed ourselves. Suddenly we were driving on ‘L’ plates without an instructor.
